Zume Pizza uses robots to take pizza to the next level. Now SoftBank is in talks to invest up to $750 million in the pizza delivery company, Bloomberg reports. The company is testing pizza delivery by robot in New Zealand, known as the Domino's Robotic Unit (DRU). The Venezia’s New York Style Pizza location in Tempe, Ariz., teamed up with Starship Technologies to bring the future to pizza delivery, Fox 10 reports. The robot is currently in proof of concept in Australia and New Zealand. Domino's customers in Europe could soon be the first to get their pizzas delivered by self-driving robots. Domino's - the global pizza delivery chain have introduced a robot which delivers pizzas from the customer's local branch to their home. The pizza chain today announced that it will trial a battery-powered delivery robot in the capital city of Wellington, describing the bot as "the world's first autonomous pizza delivery vehicle."
At Venezia's New York Style Pizza, they have new delivery drivers and they are autonomous robots.
