I've had guys say that to me after a date, and when I texted him I was home, they would reply back ok sometimes and even goodnight and would never hear from them again. I always like it when a guy asks me to text when I get home, but even better is if he texts me to confirm that I am home safe. It doesn't mean a person likes you or not.
